What happen to the Filter Guys?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yep, just sent him an email. We'll see what he says.

I e-mailed him. He replied they closed due to health issues

Sad to hear that. I talked to Jim on the phone a couple times, he was very helpful and told me all I wanted to know about filters, we talked about fish diseases, etc. Great guys to deal with.

Do you have his email? I used to get flow restrictors from him. Maybe he could tell me where to get them?

You can find them on amazon. You just need to figure out the gpd of the r.o. unit they are spec'd for and go from there. That's how I bought my 40gpd restrictor

I went on the way back machine website and was able to pull up their site. Took a snapshot of the cd40 cartridges. View attachment 1254785

monkeybike monkeybike hate to bump old thread but have a question. These are each of the filters in the chloramine filter? First link is your sediment filter but trying to understand the difference between the two carbon filters.
