I purchased an Juvie Black Arowana about 8 years ago for under 30 bucks. (I live outside of Philadelphia) in fact I ordered it from Petco. I unfortunately killed it due to my stupidity. The silvers were 20 or so. Now they're very very expensive. What happened to the market in the last 8 years?

The LFS has juvenile silver arowanas for $70! I think they are crazy. I can order 3 juvenile silver aro's online for $75. So even after shipping I still get a better deal.

i could get silvers for 15$ here in the philippines
reason is theres supply thats why its that cheap here

That's what happened 
good example: gas used to be about 90 cents 8 years ago too. the cost of many fish have gone up since shipping is so much. it all depends what part of the world the fish is coming from originally too.

Isn't it illegal in brazil to export black arowana? I know that most of the Blk being exported are out in Columbia....
