The truth in this matter is that you walk around with this giant ego, thinking that you own whatever ground you tread upon. This whole thing started because YOU refused to play by the rules. I was put in the position to enforce the forum rules and because YOU didn't like it, YOU decided to whine like a baby. The situation has been explained to the other vendors of the site who have adhered to the format. In fact, a plan spearheaded by myself is in the works to make things better all around for the vendors, however YOU, in your demented egotistical realm, have no patience and think that you own the place. It has been explained to you that your vendor priveliges are just that....a privelige. While you may pay for your position on other boards, we have a free classifieds format here. YOU chose to be a Community Seller and rules are in place for that. Comparing us to other boards and what they do gets you nowhere here. You like to play the role of a martyr, but unfortunately you show your true colors eventually. It's only a matter of time when those that choose to deal with you will find out.
You were not threatened to be thrown off if you pushed the issue as you put it. I merely stated the obvious that goes for all people that refuse adhere to a certain protocol. Instead of making suggestions as to how to make your stay here better, you decided to try and strongarm the board with your "I'm going to do what I want to" attitude. Everything was explained to you in plain black and white. Being cordial and constructive would have gotten you a lot further than the road you decided to go down.
I got word of the little screaming match and was not surprised. You have a way of bringing the worst out of people with your condescending, know-it-all tone. And as far as Dan the "Bloody idiot from England" as you put it goes, he is referring to the non-stop problems that you cause for the staff and the fact that your reputation precedes you. We work hard here to keep this board up and running...a parasite like you is best tweezed off and burnt in the flames like a tick.
In your world, there are plenty of people that get respect. You get none because of the person that you are. I know this firsthand because I have many common acquaintances as you do, most of which were in the reptile field. I'll leave it at that, because I do not like to air dirty laundry of the past. If we're so low on your list, why don't you go back to your haven where you're put on a pedestal with the masses showering you with praises and gifts? If I recall correctly, the roof over your head is your facility, so unless something has changed immensely where you have residence separate from where your fish eat and sleep, I believe that the boards still supply a portion of your income. Things could have been great for you here, but I guess as I've heard from a lot of people, trouble follows you wherever you go.
