what happened to feeder guppies

i get them 10 cents each, but 90% of them die off. goldfish are even cheaper @12 for a dollar

You will rarely find them now coz they are easy to get ich and in those tight LFS tanks, leave them alone a few weeks without being bought too much, they will crowd the tank in no time.

My local fish store still carries feeder guppies. I buy a handful of them to breed for my African Clawed Frogs, or to open the gene pool in my fiance's fancy guppy tank.

I get them for 10 cents each.

There horrible for your fish anyway they should stop selling them or breed their own so they aren't sick

In my area as well. Still plenty of feeder goldfish but by me it's rare to see feeder guppys or roseys.

Goldies and rosy reds are all over the place in my area but I have yet to see a feeder guppy.

Most feeders around my area are rosy reds, I just buy fancy guppies now and breed them, its much cleaner than buying rosys
