What fish clubs are there near Akron? I live in Cuyahoga Falls and it seems like every time I go to a convention like the fish auction that happened at Tallmadge Community Center over the weekend it seems most people are over the age of 40.

I think that the Greater Akron Aquarium Society is still around. Wasn't it their auction? Ohio Cichlid Association (OCA) I think is based outside of Cleveland.
It's true that a lot of fish clubs have aging membership. Young people draw in more young people. Go to a meeting and bring a friend or three.

I saw the recession getting worse, so I nabbed all the local doradids I could. I figure since they live so long, they'll keep me busy until the next boom.
