What Happens When you IN with Rapps?

"in" with Jeff? You just spent over $200, of course he's going to treat you well! hehehe Must be nice to be able to do overnight ground shipping with him... cuts the cost of an order down tremendously. We do overnight air to Maine for our group orders and it's close to $90 with box/heatpack fees

Wow, yeah it really is nice. couldn't imagine the price of shipping for some of the 50lb+ boxes he's sent me, if i was in canada!

Jeff discourages direct shipping to Canada with his extra fees. Not that I blame him, I hate paperwork too! He charges by the box pretty much for his shipping, no matter where to in the US. In the summer and with fry sized fish, I'd almost be tempted to do the 2day ground option. But when you have 6-8 people in on an order, it's under $15 each for your share of the next day air cost, so it's a no-brainer decision to go that way! We just have stuff shipped to a border town just inside Maine and pick it up there.

And BTW, nice fish. Not sure I'd pay that much, then again if it were something I really wanted, I would.

i know i'd have alot of jumpers if i didn't have canopies on most of my tanks. i hear fish crashing and hitting them during the night..

I believe Tom was the source for Rapps' FO Aequidens sp. aff. rivulatus, or whatever they actually are. He did an outstanding job of getting a "disappeared" fish back into the hobby and making it available to all.

I don't know if $230 gets you "in" with Senor Rapps. I think it is the quick payment that does

Tis a shame about your jumper, it was a very nice fish. Good luck with the breeding project (I think you'll find these guys are pretty nasty to conspecifics)!
