Like 10 years ago, when I had just recently got into cichlids, I had a couple convicts breed, then I got rid of them and the parents (Actually I fed them to a pike, but that is neither here nor there...). Anyway, like 3-4 months later, I tore down the tank bc I was re-arranging my room. I found an inch and a half long convict swimming under the UGF plate. It was completely white though from not ever seeing light. very strange.
