just wondering, what do u guys think of the chance of a large 2 ft armoured titanic panaque? (a pleco) Very bulky and powerful. :)

Those guys look great!! It's hard to believe that those butti aren't food yet! I must have miss read your last post I thought the butti were 4". That last pic looks like a very colorful male for only 4-5".

What are the thoughts of a bass or pike? or what about a native fish like a walleye, bigmouth bass, or norther seeing as I could catch them at any one of my local lakes or rivers?

If your dovii is docile, a bass may work. Possibly.
Northern pike aren't really aggressive - they would get beat up.
Walleye are suited to colder water and wouldn't last long in tropical temps.

They are not togethe anymore but the dovii had left the aro alone. The dovii is 11.5".

IMO, fish aggression is a fear repsponse. They will instinctively attempt at eliminating intruders or competitors they deem threatful. If the tankmates are small or docile enough (and slow), I believe you'll be able to keep them together--with some luck. Simiarly, I was able to keep 15" Jardini with severums; but should I put in trimac or midas, the Jar would go NUTS.
