Ok. Time to back up to clowns are not jumpers. Came home tonight to find one of my clowns dead on the floor. I'm a little upset about the " clowns are not jumpers" comment

That really sucks, I'm sorry.

I do agree that normally they aren't jumpers. In my experience almost all fish only jump from some sort of stressor. Like Jworth said, there are going to be exceptions however.

I like open tops...but it just sucks for evap, and you cant have a completely open top no matter what I feel. It just not worth the risk, especially with fish that think that jumping will just take them to the next tidepool (blennies)

And I still have my lawnmower blenny. I dont want him to jump out. He is very active. Think an open top is more for a coral only tank.

Agreed. I still plan to use acrylic screen over my tanks, hopefully doing that "build" in the near future.

If there is an ORA pair that I like the looks of at the F&S open house this weekend I will more than likely be coming home with it... :D

I like open tops as well. I currently have mine completely open. That will be changing soon though. I plan on putting a canopy of sorts on it, but with a completely open top to hold my new MH's. It will just cover the sides and keep fish in.

I personally am not a fan of that type of clown. Obviously just an opinion.

Definitely saved urself some cash by going with the tomato instead.
