What hikari foods to feed jardini?

i just got an aro and he'll eat the Cichlid Gold pellets, but he obviously prefers the hikari sticks. He will have a choice of either and choose the sticks. probably because they arent as hard as the pellets. he seems to like the texture maybe? more like live food and not so crunchy.
Plust the sticks stay afloat even after absorbing water and becoming softer.

Do you guys prefer to use hikari floating sticks or cichlid gold?

Will a Jardini go to the bottom to fetch massivore pellets?

Gold and Massivore for me. Massivore and market prawns/shrimp are the favourites followed by Hikari gold and fish fillets though he will take all be it from the top or bottom.

massivore pellets would be ideal! but they only float very shortly then sink
mine takes cichlid gold, food sticks are too damn small! so i use cichlid gold and he seems to like it

Are food sticks that small?

How long can I feed my jardini that until it looks "too small" for him to consume? When he's around 15"? 20"? Okay throughout his lifespan?

Your Jardini will still eat the foodsticks when he is large, I have a friend with a 20'' RTG that gorges out on foodsticks.
