what i caught in my minnow trap

well i caught nothin. lol in the river where i put it i expected to get some small bluegills, eels, small bullheads and some crays. but nothin. imm gonna try some unused porgie parts as bait. im gonna keep tryin ifi do catch anyhting ill post up. lol

Lol thats funny. There is a lake I go to I call it African lake as its loaded with African cichlids and Talipia .

I was there few days ago. 2 to 3 hours trying to hook a talipia only to have them circle my hook baited with corn and refuse to take it.

I threw in my minnow trap baited with bread and hot dog only to have cichlids (not sure what type small colorfull) circle it for hours yet refuse to go in .

I felt like jumping in lol finally fed them bread and as USUAL left empty handed . I am going back this Sun to fail again lol.

well i bought a minnow trap yesterday and i willl bait it with a hotdog and bread in a rive by my house. i will keep eveyone updated with what i catch if i do catch anything. i cnt wait.

Does your minnow trap close in the middle ? That could be the problem mine stinks you need cable ties,etc to secure the middle
