We just recently found out that in our area when winter time the water change in our town. Some how it got more chemical and clorine then summer time.
a buddy of mine lost his whole wide bar when he did a huge water change. Same thing it happen to me.

Thinking about RO now.
Back in the day, when I was still living with the folks I was using RO water from the system my father set up. I can honestly say that nothing was better. I know live in the city and it is a project everytime I do a water change because of all the chemicals they dump in the water.frnchjeep;1599539; said:I have recently lost some fish due to the same thing.

I never had to put a single chemical into the water to make it safe for the fish. I was keeping discuss at the time, and it was so easy to soften the water once it ran through the RO unit.
Man I miss those days.
