, best of luck with those...sometimes the plain janes turn out the best in pattern and conformation. I've seen really old (10+ plus) oscars in public aquariums. Monstrous behemoths 16-18 inches. And they're faded and ugly...I mean loveable 'face only a mother could love' ugly but still. Tall backs, huge jowls. Move slow as mud. There's another type that's more elongated. Both types look like they ran into a wall. No doubt they were pretty juvies once. That's why I think people get too caught up in the baby pattern/shape. They're gonna change.I feel you with Felix...I'm burned out from grief about Brick. Now I'm just pissed off. I will be posting up a poll soon about my next oscar. Red is off the table.
