Why are you making nicotine sulfate?
 
I used to collect toxins, even had a vial of botulin for a while. Eventually it led to some problems at customs so I donated them to an Army Epidemiologist that I once worked for. Odd hobby I know, but great conversation pieces, in a creepy kind of way. As in "This Little vial contains enough stonefish venom to kill at least 10 people", heheh.

This is a little off topic but I've accidentally thrown in a chocolate chip out of a trail mix bag while I was feeding cashews and peanuts. It was quickly gobbled up by my pacu. :WHOA:

I had a marbled goby that ate M+Ms, lol

As to collectng toxins,
1) becareful or you will die
2) research current laws or you WILL end up in jail (times have changed)
3) learn how to make glass lab ware as sealed glass vails are the best for safe storage and display
4) document acquisitions..., include date, source, price, LD50, etc.
5) refer to #1..., in the case of ricin or botulin toxin accidently ingest a crystal smaller than a grain of salt can kill you. for things like nicotine even inhaling the fumes generated during distillation can make you very ill.

I was kidding. I think i'll stick with fish.
 
Not anymore.., just kidding. Did have some bones for a while though (from a broken down anatomical displat) they looked great in the piranha tank.

Odd footnote. Technically, cannabalism is not illegal.
