so, in florida i saw a variety of things, however, some of them i am not sure what species thy are. the pictures needing IDs are all of them.
i pretty much know what most of them are, but just to be sure...
and by the way, as sad as it is... these are ALL new to me

in the 7th picture, i am almost positive that it is not a brown anole. i saw like a hundred of those, and it didnt look like any ofthem. at first i thought it was a green anole, because when i found him, he was on a white fence post. and since they can kinda change color, i thought it made sense...

There are tons of different varieties of anoles. In FL, if it is not a Green anole, it is invasive and is considered a brown or cuban anole even though it is probably an intergrade of the 100's of subspecies of anolis that have made their way to the states.

He didnt move because he is so used to tourists throwing pebbles at him. Seriously, they dont move for much. I am sure it was fine.

i go to sanibel quite often, and iv only seen a very small handful

i went there with the intention that they wee everywhere. brown anoles there are as common as backyard birds are here :P
