Unfortunately the green anoles are not nearly as common as they once were mostly due to the cuban browns....
Brown anoles are bigger and bossier, they compete for food with the greens and I have even witnessed one eat a hatchling green anole... no idea if this is common behavior or not.....
either way it's horrible....
