side note I've read places that hydra are actually related to jelly fish, which is kind of cool. and sometimes they will have a greenish colour from phyto plankton living inside of them

hydras, I think, are awesome haha. I have them in a 55 with my pickerel and sunfish. There will be occasions that I may feed one of the larger ones with a blood worm or two haha, interesting to watch for sure.

Imagine having a big one in your tank,like a near twelve inch hydra with tentacles that shoot out and grab fish and other prey items.It'd be neet to watch them stuff food into their mouths....okay that took me back to an old Ultraman episode.

I use to stick those anemones at the beach... when I was little & watch them squirt water...
