Your Dats? you were hoping they were baby ST's?? Ive done the same thing. but i ended up with fat barred Indos. good luck to you.
 
Traditionally, "four-barred dat" was a reference to the silver datnoid, which was known as Datnioides quadrifasciatus, i.e., four-barred Datnioides. That species is now known as D. polota. However, without a picture, it could be an Indo or silver, both of which can commonly have four body bars, i.e., excluding tail stripes and the eye bar.
