what is a croccodile gar?

Go right ahead you do that....No one else is going to.

I'm giving you background on the fish and their status in the hobby not saying they will not show up again. The original producer is not going to make them again so these fish at this time are not common nor available.

Davo..Is this name being used in the UK??? Frankly I have not seen it here in the states at all and never actually even saw it with the actual Crocodile gars when available. The producer of the fish called them Crocodile gars and sold them under that name but very few actually caught on with this name.

Normally everything is alligator gar, Garpike or my recent favorite alligator gar cichlid in these parts. Once and awhile someone will use Longnosed or spotted (each case the fish being a Florida)
