what is a DAS tank?

The only real differance between fresh water and marine tanks are that the salt tanks are usually drilled for overflows. Salt tanks can be used for freshwater with no problem at all.

I only assumed marine because all i could get from a google search on it was a bunch of stuff about salt tanks. If it is indeed just the type of overflow system or filtration it shouldnt matter.
