What is a Fair Cost for a Male Peacock?

Some of mine have gone for 15-$40 at club auctions in the last 2 years.
If you come to my house 10-$15 for the same fish.;)
One guy decided not to have me bring him a sunshine peacock for $10 then ended up paying $32 for it at the auction!:screwy:
 
Cool thanks for all the input. I never thought of looking for a breeder out here in OC, CA, but I'll give it a Google and see if I can find any.

I was planning on spending between $20-$25.
