I have a 75 gallon salt, working to be a reef. looking for a good fish that will make the "center piece" of the tank. as of now i have 2 clowns (lil nemo's lol sorry cant remeber there names), 3 green chromis, cleaner shrimp, goby, diamond goby, and a bunch of snails. Looging for the one good center piece. It need to be something i can house in the tank for life, im not looking to buy a fish then have to upgrade the tank size later. Any sugestions??

i dont know of any angels that can be housed in a 75 for life. i thought most angels need atleast 140g for the swimming room. beside i thought angels were not good for reef tanks.?.?

sorry, i failed to see that your aiming towards a reef setup..I had a flame angel that didnt bother any of my corals and was the main attention getter out of all my fish

a volitan lionfish or a reef safe wrasse

Harlequin Tusk Wrasse are awesome fish, but i think they would eventually kill tankmates and outgrow ur 75. It might work though as far as size, most sites say max is 10 inches. but i may be wrong informed.

tusks would eat the hell out of those shrimp and beg for more

get a bellus or lamark's angel
or a pyramid butterfly
