What is a good turnover rate?

I agree with over filtering. My tanks turns over 19.6 times a hr...... Over kill most likely but my water is crystal clear and quality is unmatched. Keep in mind yhou it's only a 75g. But again 19.6 turn over rate.

Thanks for all the replys. I think a Mag Drive 18 should get the job done but I might go for the 24 just to make sure.

Another question.

I plan to use a PVC swing check valve as a fail safe. Will this also limit the gph of the pump I choose? If so, by how much?
