Surfing the web I've ran into something called a Gorillus blue a couple of time. Absolutely beautiful fish and I would love to learn more. Is this a Umbee variant or its own species? Are they rare/ expensive? What is the minimum tank size needed. Do you guys have any pictures of some? Thanks and looking forward to the responses! :)

They are a variant of the umbee. I have three umbeeking line g blues. I paid $20 each but prices vary i guess. They get BIG most websites say 36" and i guess that can happen if everything is perfect but i would expect a little closer to 28".

Seriously?! So you didn't even try looking up the info using the search and then when I even go through the trouble to give you a link and a source of info and possible sale you won't even click it instead you keep asking people to hand feed you answers. I pity your fish if this is reflective of the effort you put toward maintaining them.

Really? I bet he did click on the link. And what does it matter if he asks more questions or not. Go find someone else to harass.

Because he should put some effort on his own to finding info. especially when someone does the leg work for him which I didn't have to and even gave him someone whose very experienced with Umbee's. Still I can see your of the same mind as him and such concepts probably escape you so I know I'm probably wasting my time on someone else who would also create a thread because he's too lazily to search for info. as well and not understand why someone who put more effort than the op in helping would get annoyed when the op chose to just keep asking for hand fed answers, such a waste.

Ive done weeks of research on every fish i own. But yes, i might occasionally make a thread about a fish asking Personal opinions and experiences on a fish.
