what is a NIGER shovelnose hybrid?*NEW*

Everyone will just have to be patient to see the max size. These cats are too new for anyone to have seen adults.

Yours looks great Oddball, is there any particular food your feeding?

Whatever gets thrown in is eaten by all 4. Bloodworms, crumbles, earthworm sticks, chopped shrimp, baby crays, chopped clam, etc.

I know mines eating now. I put in a fair amount of cichlid flake, sinking cichlid pellet, an some tilapia fillet (chopped up small) an he had the big ole belly today. His color got a bit darker to.

here are some pics of my 2 the first pics they are about 4-5" the last 3 pics are recent and they are now about 10"

still eating and growing. check out the girth on these monsters. Really good personality and will hand feed.

Would like to get some. This is one of the very few pimlodid hybrids I have not kept lol. This one to me is very unusual because it is species from two totally seperate families!
