What is a Platinum Arowana ?

A co forum member at phals who went to aquarama 2011 singapore and its his first time that he saw this silver albino arowanas from rainbow farms who breed them. I heard it's around 6 to 7k usd a piece.

Interesting but a platinum is different from an albino, your pics and info would be better suited in a thread of their own.

BTW if these fish you post of were actually albino, their eyes would not have black pupils. So likely just a scam.

a shop where i live near by are selling a platinum arowana for £999 i would get it if i had a big enough tank lol

Those are legit Albino Silver Aros. It's just the angle of the picture which made it look not pink.

You could possibly argue that on the pics from a distance, but not with this one which shows the same eye from two angles.
