what is a "quality pellet"

some websites suggest a "quality pellet" what name brand would be considered quality?
Specifically looking for a pellet or flake for Satanopercain.

I used to use NLS for years and my fish were healthy and colors were solid...I've tried other foods, including cheap ones (Aquamax for example) and there is no comparison

New Life Spectrum and Hikari are 2 of the favorites generally when talking about commercially available. However I buy most, if not all of my prepared foods from www.kensfish.com. He offers excellent foods at great prices and I've been using them for years with my fish.

I have to agree when Ken, Xtreme is at the top of my list now.My fish like it better than NLS and the main ingred. are better.
