What is a SB Delhezi worth?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hi.
That is a young fat Semi-short, possibly short body Del.
Not sure what makes you think it's worth much more than a standard Del?

The markings on it are also pretty standard for a CB Delhezi.
IMO it would be worth around $20 more than whatever you pay in your country/town for a regular length Del.

I see posts of people saying "got a new delhizi for 35-50$" pretty frequently. Just cause they are cheap in your area doesn't mean that it is all over the US. Also, you need to factor the short body thing into the equation. I see TONS of albino senegals that are short body... Not so many delhizi, and with strong pattern? (imagine on a darker substrate) I think I would fairly ask 75$.

i personally would agree with TGM because again like i said before, SBs are a deformity so that does add price, but not excessively too much. just like SB albino senegals. normal ones cost like $10, while SB albinos cost around $25-35

Yes it depends where you live.
They are everywhere here in Asia and cheap.
SB lower jaws go for more money but not Sens, dels or Palmas polli.

Personally I disagree about the pattern. It looks pretty standard to me.

@OP, don't waste your time trying to make extra money out of a common defect, instead sell on at a reasonable price (or give away) to someone who you know will give a good home to it.

The drip on the glass makes it look like its the bichirs eyeball. Anyways nice fish I think 75 is a good asking price v

$75 is too much for me to pay for a Delhezi. :) Consumers control the market!

I am with you on this one. Not somthing you come across often esp in the USA. I think asking $60-75 is good
I'd sell for no lower then 75, 100s a good asking price, could probably get more if you found the right collector.
