I buy my beefheart at the local butcher's shop as well, but I get 4 hearts for $12.14 after tax. Great base for some good foods. My butcher is great though, he cuts away all the fat for me.

i personaly like this approch, but if you do it to slow you get kinda messy

I buy my beefheart at the LFS. The markets around here don't carry it. I do get chicken hearts from the market though.

walmart they have everything it was like.... 3.70$ for about 2 lbs if I remember correctly :-D
