Man, people can't ID a fish and immediately jump on the hybrid band wagon.

You've a nice, smaller, rarer cichlid. And it does look to be female.

Usually if you're buying a fish you'll know what it's name is. If you're asking for an ID on it theres a pretty good chance it's a hybrid, which really shouldn't be for sale anyway.

you should never assume it's a hybrid unless you or someone else have researched it. in this instance this fish is clearly not a hybrid... ;)
