A little Black african with white pearly dots all over.. i thought maybe it was in Julidochromis species family... but i cannot find any of them with just dots.. or do you think it is possible that the dots are just on the young.... this one was not even an inch but it was outstanding looking..they were asking $12 for a fish they did not even have an ID on....i am not interested in purchasing this one... because it has no breeder or history etc.. but i am interested in learning about them and possibly buying some in the near future..gorgeous.. jet black with very white dots... help....maybe if some of you can post up a pic of yours that fits this describtion..

Liz, do you have any idea if its African or South American?? If its potentially south american, could be a Jaguar Cichlid.

I absolutely love that type also!! don't you need to keep those guys in groups of like 8 +? hopefully you can still get it...?!?

Well everyone beat me to it. I was going to get some of these but i heard they were not too hardy and did not want to have a mixed lake tank. I would definatly go back and try to pick that up becuase that is a steal at that price.
