Gibby's are typically thrown in the "common" category. They are typically in the "sailfin" category. Which contains p. Gibbiceps, p. Jose, and a few more."common pleco" encompasses about 20 separate species, including the gibby. this is 100% not a gibby. if i had to guess i'd say it is a juvenile p. pardalis with stressed pattern in that picture, also usually labeled as a "common".
