What is jacking up my PH?

In about 7 months this tank will be my discus show tank. I have the tme so I'll just sit and watch what it does. There are 3 angelfish in it right now. They seem to love it. One of them layed eggs 2 weeks ago.

I will be adding one large piece of driftwood and 3 small pieces of lace rock soon (it has not been delivered yet) and more plants.
 
If you don't intend to breed them, don't worry about the pH, it won't matter too much to them. Also, the RO unit isn't required/needed, unless you plan to breed.
