what is minimum tank size?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I use tap water with my rays, pH of 8.5 and hardness off the charts, no probs. I have heard of geo working though.

ummm, I have aros are popular for the surface, lots of people like dats or pbass for the middle. Some cats are ok. So long as the fish wont eat the ray, become food, or pick on the ray they are fine

Ok makes sense! thank you!

I was told no no on the Geo's , i just dont want to have JUST rays in such a big tank know what i mean? lol :D

But i have found myself to be addicted to them lately and really want one, but know i will have to wait till i move my plecos and fish.

very cool thank you! allows me to breath a little! :D ya i think a aro would be awesome with them as i have never kept one.

I need to reduce my Geo population down some first for sure! and split up different colonies as well

I think the 240 would be good for 2 motoros. I know brent has 3 or 4 good size rays in his 240 and his leos just bred in it. Obviously the 240 was fine for him.....just make sure you have good filtration. As for water, I use tap also, and PH is about 8.0.....high for rays, but no problem with mine.

Good luck

Pat
