What is on my ray?

it looks like a flower ray? am i right, you might want to take a look at that grey thingy on its disc though, that doesn't look right?
 
That looks very much like my soft shells when they had a fungus problem. I treated my turtles with neosporin and it went away. But I don't know if neosporin is good for fish/rays. I would just do what you were saying and up the water changes and maybe a little salt.
 
correct me if im wrong, but i heard that salt in a ray tank is a big no no
 
you couldn't be more wrong, you are corrected!!!!!!!!

add salt, a lot! non iodized salt

"this salt does not contain iodide" that's what you look for

It looks like the wound is not as fresh. Shouldnt be a biggie as long as the offending fish ( or object ) is removed. Rays heal pretty quick.
 
It seems to be getting smaller. The ray is still acting fine:)
