Just do what everyone else around this place does.......Sell it to the person that offers you the most.Sell it across seas and get 5 times as much.IF it was mine I'de GIVE it to Mike for 3-4 pups in return. You know it would be taken care of. You know it will do its part in increasing the captive bred population. And if you didn't want them sell them all and put 8K in your pocket.

The demand is higher over there for everything..

Most of the people were dead on so I won't add too much. But I think mike months ago wanted $1300ish for a henlei pup with no females available. Ugh I need a black ray.. lol

I hate to point out the obvious, but since you admitted that the male didn't make it for more than 6 months in your care, I think that $500 is fair for the adult female, it may not be that healthy of a fish.

I think that a guaranteed young but ready to breed, 3 year old female or so, could fetch in the $3000 range, depending on if you could ship or not.

not to be rude but where does it say that he only kept the male for 6 months. he doesnt mention a purchase date only dates of pup births and the males death. please read carefully before you accuse people
