I have never been a fan of blue backgrounds but I have to say I really like the way yours looks. I'm assuming it is a rather dark blue? The majority of the blue ones I have seen have either been light blue or a bright blue. My reef tank had a blue background and I regretted that decision the entire time I had the tank.

Thanks :D

It could be a lighting issue. It looks like a dark blue/midnight blue under my normal aquarium lights. You can see the huge difference in appearance between these 2 photos (1 is taken with the flash turned on and one without).

Blue for Saltwater.... Black for freshwater.

Having said that, however... I am using a dark rockscape scene background for my mbuna tank.

They make a black stick on background that I have seen in use and they look awesome. I ordered one for my 90. Of course I am gonna have to break down the tank a bit to install it but I love black backgrounds so... These are supposed to make stuff pop much more.

I put a black background on my tank (landscape fabric :) )
It looks much better to me! I change some stuff around in the tank too.

thanks!
I had no idea how much difference a simple black background would make :headbang2
Yeah, I really like the tinfoils. The biggest one is close to 14" and I just bought a 5th tinfoil and it is funny how tiny it is compared to the rest :)
