Ok so an overflow is installed just as a saftey precaution no drilling nessasary and is to be used with a sump. I could have the tank drilled for a sump also. Is one way better than the other. so I put in an overflow, siphon from the tank into a container under tank and then pump it back up in after filtering? Damn I need a diagram or something

yup. the search function is there for a reason. just about any question you could possibly come up with, has probably been answered a hundred times. seriously, youd be surprised. ive searched things i didnt think would be there, and they would come up. give it a try. lol

So then I should just get a bad ass canister filter as apposed to a overflow w/sump.

ok I decided to just get a good canister filter. what is the best for the money filter I can buy that will handle a 135. I was looking at petsmart at the Fluval ones around 230 clams.
