Iv got a 150g tank on it way any am still deciding what to do with it.

Iv always liked schooling fish but have never seen any school properly in tanks (like they do in huge aquariums) and after looking into it, it seems that they are often not kept in large enough groups to show this behaviour.

Now I have a completely empty tank with enough room to get a big group I was wondering what species of fish would be the best for schooling in a large group??

i was thinking of getting some corys so if the other fish would be good tank mates that would be a bonus :D

Without giving it alot of thought I'd say neons. I've noticed with danios is the more you have the more likely they will school. Whenever I have less then 6 they seem to break apart. Rosey Reds(cheap feeders) seem to school together pretty well.

Giant Danio's.... like 150+

Can't beat neon tetras

Why not make a community tank with like 10~12 of each schooling fishes?

I did think of doing that with a schools of 20 of: Lemon tetra, Glowlight tetra, Neon tetra

OR

A amazon biotope of angels, silver dollars and corys, not sure how many of each
