what is the best tank mate for arowana

i have a black with frontosas and clown loaches. but i think rays and arows are nice.

didn't specify what kind of aro but i'd say this: flagtail, sting rays, datnoids, clown loaches, bichirs, blood parrots, some not so aggressive catfish, some knife fish would also do. i've successfully kept a giant gourami with my arowana. i've also seen a chinese hi fin banded shark in other tanks. a school of silver dollars would also do.

try an asian rtc that should be interesting...


on a more serious note, try some special pleco's... they compliment the gracefulness of the aro with thier striking patterns and stillness

you can add stingray, Tiger fish, or Silver Dollar. but you should make sure the size is equal to your arowana.
