but $150 for it is insane you could find one bigger then that for almost half that

If you love the fish to begin with, there shouldn't be a fix price. Just because you can get a better deal, it doesn't mean it will apply to him.

Eg, I recently got a 8.5" NGT for $67.80, now I see every NGT that is over $70 is insane in price, but is that the truth???
