What is the biggest fish you've ever caught?

In Oc california when i was there for thanksgiving somebody caught a bat ray the size of a VW bus on the huntington pirer.:eek:

No pics then its a LIE!!! You know...if you really did catch a 12lbs smallmouth bass, you just broke the world record by 1oz. Although, if it is right on the spot on 12lbs. Then you may not get to replace the record due to a fact that the IGFA required any fish under 25lbs to be at least 2oz bigger than the previous record to be able to replace it. BUT, you can still get a state record!!!

longest was a 6ft short beak spearfish, but my heaviest is a 180lb Bat Ray
 
largest (with deep sea gear lol)-6'5.5'' alligator gar 237 pounds.
largest bare hand 52lb flat head catfish.
 
speaking of bare hand catches, friend of mine bare handed a friggin 35 inch line side in the Chattahoochee River...probly the strangest thing i've seen in a while! ... i mean, look at his face haha
