they are not protected in my area. the taste great and yes you must snag them.

90 lb sailfish playa del carmen mexico on 12lb test between cozumel and the mainland (salt). Fresh lmb flordia st johns river 10lbs 2oz on 8lb test. Those are all I got. Also caught a 4lb smallmouth on 4lb test in local creek.
