pearl of paradise google for there site.... look for pools you can assemble your self inside.... target and walmart have nice large kiddie pools that work great as well...

You could get a huge pool that has collapsible sides. You know? The kind with roll up hard vinyl sides and a soft vinyl bottom.

Build one in-place. Sand, 4x4 posts, liner(s), long long nails and bolts to hold it all together.

Then you also gotta think about filtration, plumbing for water changes, and a way to view it. I'd get a cat5 USB extender (cdwg has 'em) and a USB webcam (maybe one of the Orbits with motion tracking) and figure out a waterproof enclosure.

just buy a normal above ground pool for swimming, and set it up in your basement

I have a pretty big basement. The place where I'm thinking of setting this up is in a room about 25'x15'x8'. The ground is completely made of concrete. I'm not making a pond/pool but like the ones you see at walmart and stuff. Can I just buy it and then set it up in the room? Sorry if im confusing you guys.

Put styrofoam insulation under the "pond" to help with heating problems.
