I picked up a yellow tail and am not sure if it is an isaline. Are they the same thing? I'll try and get a pic of him in a few.

Pix are up.

the common consensus is that the ones that came in recently are neither regular yellow tails or isalinae but somewhere between the two.

yellow tails never have 2 stripes but these fish will fade and get way too big to be isalinae.

On a side note exodons do not make great tank mates for other fish;)

Read that, but they havn't bothered anyone yet. 2 weeks under their belt, but hopefully no future problems will happen.

I have been trying, but not successful yet...does anybody know a great page that gives info on Freshwater Barracudas?

Info or where to buy them?

Yellow tailed (Acestrorhynchus Falcirostris) commonly have light stripes when the are young...and ive also seen them with one red tail fin and one yellow when young....but it dosnt take long for there distinct look to come out....that fish is in no way an isalineae

Maybe it's because you only have 4 exo's in there.

In that last pic, your cuda's tail looks pretty beat up. Are you sure they're getting along?
