What is the difference between these 2 endi?

Most if not all polys will look diff on diff colors of substrate.
When I had all black all my polys had a darker tinge to them and showed alot of green but had no real contrast to there patterned.

I was thinking this too. My fahaka turn really bright colors on light substrate but dark as heck on black bottom.

I don't think substrate has to do with these fish. They are leucistic(no pigment). As in pricing differences, it just depends on the batch. I don't think people really notice the quality unless they had 2 leucistic Endli next to each other. Different lighting makes it have a different shade of white.

IMO, top one is good picture quality and second one has a lot of noise.
