I wouldnt put an eel in the 100g cuz you already have a big bio load for that tank.
Ok i dont wanna hurt any fish and havent rlly kept eel's before. So would the peacock or 2 work in the 30gallon?

peacocks are supposed to max out at 12 inches, i've never seen one longer than 8 inches. they should do well in a 30 gal. feed them bloodwroms and they will go crazy.

kk sounds like thats my plan ill probly put 2 in there if its ok? and are there any tank mates?

Peacocks are easy-going and small, with small mouths. They won't be a threat to any fish within their size range. Also, consider other fish that might be able to eat a Peacock. Just make sure you place Peacocks with fish that they can't eat and fish that can't eat them.

Would they be ok with tiger barbs or tetra's? cause they swim middle to top and eels be near bottom and tigers may attak not sure with them

Tetras and barbs are great. i just don't like the NIPPINESS of tigers. I had a school of them when I was a kid and never got over the fact that they will bug other species of fish all day long. They can be relentless pests. I consider tigers to be the type of fish that I would house with other fast-swimming tetras and barbs. But, peacocks are quick. that's up to you.

I think ill just do the tetra's with him i dont want problems and wanna make sure my first eel experience goes rite

Make sure you have a tight fitting lid. Mine jumped one night when I forgot to shut the lid. Also try to have a cave or some hiding places for it otherwise it'll most likely bury itself under the gravel. Good luck with your little guy cuz they are awesome little eels!

Imma use pvc pipe and rock caves. And i got a good lid im scared everything will jump out

I keep my peacock in a 20Long and he is content. Be careful if you decide to go w/ more then one. they can get rather nippy with conspecifics. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Not sure tiger barbs would fair well either. larger groups of tiger barbs seem to be more docile then smaller, I keep mine with guppies. The guppy fry suppliment his primary diet of frozen blood worms and live pan worms.
