I have heard that they have a mixed batch that are all sold as just dinosaur bichir, or bichir.

I just want to know what ones they have and if they would be ok in a 125.

Its senegal.. I checked 2 stores, one sell them for $15 the other sell them for $30 + taxes

and...

I got mine for $8 a piece ^^

where u located poopsmart? if your near me, I can get you a baby ornate for $14.5 (3 days left)

alright I thought so, it said senegalus so I figured senegal. I bought one. He is a baby in my 29 growing out with a baby spotted pleco. I will move him to my sandy 55 after a while, but what sthe best food when they are this young?

I figured just sinking food, maybe shrimp pellets? I tossed a few freeze dried bloodworms in there, but thats it for tonight. Any specific suggestions?

I hope he will do good in the 125, I am going to keep him with some more peaceful cichlids (severums, oscar, snook)

senegal

You can't go wrong with offering massivore (broken up for juvies) or sinking carnivore.

Chopped up earthworms and market shrimp are also really good for them. :)

I also hear that beef heart and silversides do good to give him a lil growth spur (but, never owned one)

get it on sinking pellets right away and then i would vary some. beefheart should help it grow up a little more quickly.
