What is the least aggressive large CA/SA Cichlid in your opinion/experience?

Red bay snooks are probably the biggest "least" aggressive CA. Most any of the geophagus are quite peaceful.

Uaru - most wouldn't harm a fly and will become very sociable. Mine at lettuce frommmy fingers and hung out with a bunch of platies...
Matt

not my xperience - had what ended up as two males taking care of (and fin chunks out of) uros and freddies. they were madmen and had to go.

snooks and lyonsi are the least aggressive, followed by psittacus.

I have to say Chocolate cichlid as well. My ex-roommate had a full grown one in a 75 gallon with a common pleco. That cichlid was the coolest looking, most mild and curious cichlid I've seen. Before I moved out I got rid of some of my fish and put a 3" clown loach and two 5" shubunkin goldfish in with the Chocolate cichlid and pleco. The chocolate cichlid could have cared less. I thought for sure he'd go at the small Clown loach, but they're all still in that same tank 2 years later.

Ya gotta get a Chocolate, you won't be disappointed.

Yeah, Chocolate.

You guys know there are two species of "chocolate" cichlids?

Hypselecara temporalis, and Hypselecara coryphaenoides.

I'm assuming everyone is referring to temporalis.
