what is the meanest cichlid?

I have herd the wolf cichlid is but im not really sure. Just becasue there are some many differnt cichlids out there i was just wondering?

I would probably go for green terror. It is pretty but a damn attitude.

Depends on the personality of the fish, and some ppl have a very one sided opinion anyways, depending on what that particular person has for fish.

would say it depends on the individual fish but I' narrow it down to the red devil or the dovii (wolf cichlid) but it would probably go to the red devil for pound for pound outright belligerance never kept a butti but i hear they are pretty nasty as well

lol i agree with the green terror ....... i have a 8 inch polystigma who killed both his females.... a year later i bought a green terror its half the size of the polystigma but it beats the living crap out of him.... lol

My green terror is pritty dam mean. It dominates all the fish in my 180, some over twice its size. It even flares its gills an snaps at me if I put my face near the glass. From what I've read on here from other peoples dovii's and red devils, I'd say their meaner than a green terror though. You have to take the dovii's size into consideration too.
